Invest in USA property and land through a SIPP

Know what a SIPP is?

A SIPP is a Self Invested Personal Pension.  The use of one provides an individual much greater flexibility with how they invest their pension funds.

In a nutshell, an individual decides they want to invest some of their pension funds into a different asset such as property, or land.  You would contact a SIPP provider, explain how much of your pension you are wanting to draw down, and what you will be investing in.  The SIPP provider will contact your provider once your paperwork has been completed and request the funds.

Your SIPP provider is now acting as a trustee to you (and your SIPP fund.)

You can invest in USA property, land, commercial property, gold, and other assets.  Some of which, like land do not attract any tax.

You can read more on SIPP's on wikipedia here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SIPPS
